The first review listed indicated that Airplay issues were probably user error. It’s like the old distorted color bar screen of tvs of old. I wish I could share with you a photo of what it looks like when I cast it to my brand new Samsung OLED tv.
I think the suits in charge know this full well and rely on our love of the sport and lack of alternative access to it to justify both investing the bare minimum into the service and the refusal to make it any better.
If I didn’t love this sport, I would have canceled this a long time ago. Most of the time I’m watching it on 240p-540p max even with great internet connection. I’m forced to watch it on my tiny phone screen more than half the time because they seem to decide to either allow or prevent us from casting it onto our tv’s on a whim. The sport makes an ungodly amount of money, especially from the American market, and yet all we are given in return is this buggy unreliable app that we pay a sizable sum to use. Between the atrocious quality issues most of the time, the frequency of error codes and connection disruptions, and the infrequency of having the honor and privilege to cast the events onto my tv, it’s really maddening and quite disheartening really. It’s my only access to the sport as an American. Very expensive, very unreliable, overall heartbreakingly disappointing and frustrating ğull exclusive access to Live Timing Data, Maps and Analysis.
